can be done at any time in your pregnancy, and it's pressure free. I will
wait for you to contact me.
An extensive information package...
Packed with illustrations, articles and handouts; giving you the information
you need to get ready for your big day!
At least two more pre-natal visits...
Usually done in the comfort of your home. The first visit goes over your thoughts and wishes regarding labour and delivery. I will help you write
a birth plan, and a contract will be signed at this time. The second visit
is more hands on, for labour and birth preparation. I will go over various comfort measures, acupressure points, relaxation and breathing techniques.
Any further questions you have will be answered, to ensure that you are
ready for labour and delivery.
24 hour on call support until your due date and two weeks postpartum...
You can call me anytime of the day or night with any questions or
concerns - one of the best parts of having a doula.
Continuous labour support until after the birth...
I will come to your home when support is needed, and help ensure a
calm and peaceful environment. I will help you relax with massage, counter-pressure, relaxation, visualization and acupressure until it's
time to head to the hospital. Once at the hospital, continuous support
will be given, until approximately two hours after the birth.
I write a beautiful keepsake birth story, and take as
many photographs as you would like.
At least one postpartum visit...
To go over the details of your birth, and to answer any questions
that you may have. You will receive your birth story and pictures,
and will assist you with breastfeeding if needed. I can also help
refer you to other postpartum services if needed.
